(note: this is one of my pre-scheduled posts set to appear at 5:00am EST each morning I am in a port city. I will post follow-up information about each trip once I am able to get back on the computer.)

I was originally supposed to go on the Breede River Rafting trip today, but given that I have my period right now, I don't really feel like falling in the water and being uncomfortable the rest of the day.  The trip also left at 6:45 am and when my alarm went off, I decided that it just wasn't going to happen.  Instead, I slept late and I plan on going out to do some shopping today.  Everyone has to be back on the ship at 8:30 pm tonight (so they know everyone is present and accounted for before the ship leaves about two hours later).
